During the past year, I have replaced my Drake 8 line receivers with AOR products. My AOR-7030+ is currently in the process of being upgraded with the UNPB7030 noise blanker / notch filter board and a Kiwa audio upgrade kit.
The 3030 is used with a multi-coupler with my restored Yaesu FRG-7 (the same one pictured on the left..I've owned it since 1977!)
I also use a variety of portable receivers including a Panasonic RF-2200, considered by many the king of BCB receivers, and a CC Radio 2. The CC Radio is by "bedside" receiver.
I also dabble in a bit of "Ultralight" DX'ing and enjoy using portables and hand held receivers for a little DX challenge. I also use a vintage Zenith Trans-Oceanic H500 for a bit of Retro DX along with a Realistic DX-160...just for fun.
